The Conversation

The Conversation: Jewish In America is a unique project based on a simple concept: bringing together about 65 American Jews who are leaders or potential leaders in their respective fields to talk about the future of Jewish life in this country and what it means to be Jewish in the 21st century.
The first Conversation was held in October 2005 in Aspen, Colorado, and was judged a major success. The second Conversation was held at the Aspen Wye River Conference Center on the Eastern shore of MD. Last year's Conversation was held The Chateau Elan outside of Atlanta.

This year we will convine once again at Chateau Elan,September 14-16th 2008.

Sponsored by The Jewish Week in partnership with the Center for Leadership Initiatives, the program is intended to provide a safe and creative place for people from a wide span of religious, political and generational perspectives - but who share a love for the Jewish people and care about its history, survival and advancement - to meet, talk, and imagine together.
